This is hideous, but I felt a need to enter anyway.
Because I felt simply uniting was far stronger than uniting with love, as romantic as such a notion is. Straight, gay, transgendered, other races... why should we need love to unite us when we should be united already simply because we are all human?
That's something we can all share, to allow us to accept even those we don't agree with because maybe one day it will be your rights in question, and you will want someone to support you.
This goes not only for races and sexualities, but political stances, mental and physical gender, IQs, subcultures and financial standings. Everyone is different, hence all the more reason for us to realise that due to this... we are all the same.
